Wild Atlantic Way

 

The Wild Atlantic Way stretches some 2500 km, passing through 9 counties. It covers the North, the West and into the south coast of Ireland.

This is where Seaview Cottage is a great place to base yourself on the first leg of your Atlantic journey. Start your adventure on the peninsula of Inishowen, in Co, Donegal, and then continue back to base through the Rosguill peninsula.

Seaview Cottage is located right in the heart of the Rosguill Peninsula, which enjoys the stunning views along the Atlantic Drive coast line.

Bring your Wild Atlantic Way Passport, then visit all the special viewing areas, marked by a “WAW” signpost, Doe Castle and Dooey to name just two of them.

You can purchase your “Wild Atlantic Way Passport” at most Post Offices An Post and Irish tourist information offices for €10. You can also get them at many National Parks, (nearest; Glenveagh National Park, Church Hill, Co, Donegal ) Airports ( Nearest; Donegal Airport, Carrickfinn, Kincasslagh, Letterkenny, Co,Donegal ) and the bus station offices of Bus Éireann. ( nearest; Station Roundabout, Letterkenny, Co, Donegal).

Once you have managed the whole of the Wild Atlantic Way, all 2500 km, you would have collected all 188 discovery points.
